Only 104 Days Left Until Christmas....Are you ready?
=D No I am not trying to scare you but seeing how quickly September has flown by the Holidays will be here before we know it. With four children now in our family our Christmas budget has to stretch even farther this year. So I have been thinking a lot about making most of our Christmas presents this year. I am excited about teaching my children the importance of taking our time to make something personal for the people we love.
What about all of you? I would love to hear what kind of gifts you have made or are planning to make for the Holidays. Let's inspire each other this year!!
One thing that has truly inspired my home-made gift frenzy this year is the brand-new Holiday Mini Catalog. As soon as I saw it, I was inspired and filled with creative holiday ideas. There are so many incredible accessories, paper, stamps and so much more in this catalog. My wish list is quite long. After all, if I am making quality home-made gifts I should have all the fun accessories to make them, right? =)
I hope you will be just as inspired as I am as you look through all of these exciting new products. Can't wait to play with some of the new toys? Then join me at my...

Daulton Richard Scott arrived July 20th at 6:18AM. He made quite an entrance at 12lbs, 1.5oz and is now the largest baby born at our hospital naturally. He was 21.5in long and his head was 14in. After a rough delivery and some complications both baby and Mom are at home recovering.
I will be taking the next three weeks off from Stampin' Up! (one of the perks to owning my own business =). Marker Club will kick off on the 19th of August. I am still answering e-mails so if you have any questions about the new catalog feel free to ask.
Are you going on a trip this summer? Wouldn't it be great to have your scrapbook finished before your trip? All you would have to do is add your pictures and journaling after your vacation? Or do you already have pictures from a vacation that desperately need to be showcased in an album? Then join me for the...

I get asked again and again how to scrapbook with stamps. I must admit I was a sticker scrapbooker before I became a demonstrator. I used stickers to embellish every page I created. Once I became a demonstrator I realized that I have so many more options with stamps then I ever did with stickers. My scrapbook pages have since taken on a brand new, more modern look. I hope this video helped you see all of the possibilities of scrapbooking with stamps.
May is National Scrapbook Month. What a perfect month to work on some projects and get some pages finished. I am having an Open House on May 22nd from 10:00AM until 8:00PM. Just e-mail me about what time you will be coming over, bring whatever you are working on and come scrapbook with me. I am always so inspired by scrapbooking with other people, aren't you?
As many of you know, I am a chaotic crafter. I love to stamp, scrapbook, sew and so many other things which tends to result in piles. Lots of them. It drives me nuts but with three kids (and the fourth on the way) I tend to get distracted by family life before I get the chance to clean up my pile. So the piles tend to accumulate. My children all love to stamp so that adds to the piles and clutter.
To make matters worse, my stamping supplies have been divided between two rooms--our office and our dining room. I used to keep everything in our office, which worked at the beginning of my business but as my supplies grew, there was just no place to put everything. Plus all of my classes are held in our dining room. When setting up for a class I would have to make multiple trips from the office to the dining room not to mention during class when I would inevitably forget something. Slowly I started taking over our dining room but still had quite a bit in our office. I never knew what supplies I had in each room. So lately I have spent more time running between rooms trying to find stuff then actually stamping.
With the baby's arrival getting closer each day I realized that I needed to get my stamping stuff organized and put into one location. Well, that desire could also have something to do with the whole "nesting instinct" while pregnant, LOL. If you follow me on Twitter or on Facebook then you know that this is a project I have been working on for over a month. I would get a good start on organizing but would once again run into the issue of having no where to actually put things. So frustrating.
My wonderful husband sensed my frustration (especially since he was getting tired of the piles too) and suggested we find a cabinet for the dining room. Great idea, except that nothing seemed to be tall enough or deep enough to fit everything. So Tuesday afternoon he came up with a solution. Move our giant cabinet out of our bathroom (which took up way too much room in there anyway) into the dining room and put a slightly smaller cabinet into the bathroom instead. Perfect solution!!
I just wanted to warn you all that posts on Stamping Bliss may be few and far between over the next two months. I have pictures to post over the next few weeks but I will not be able to get back to the Monday-Wednesday-Friday routine for awhile. As those of you who follow this blog know, I am pregnant with our fourth child. This has been a very difficult pregnancy and I just received word that some of my recent test results were not good. So I have to go back in for testing. We are hoping and praying that the next set of results come back fine. If not, then they could signal some serious complications ahead for us. So as you can imagine, I will have to put blogging here on hold for a while.
I am still planning on holding my classes and clubs but not doing anything extra until the baby is born in July (unless I have to have him early). If you want an update on my stamping bliss activities then go to my Stamping Bliss Facebook Page and click "like". That is an easier, less stressful way for me to keep up. I will let you all know what is happening. Until I can post again...
